    after a freak-out on the scale and bad news at the doc yesterday, Im feeling a bit better today. I leave this afternoon for 3 days at a conference. Im nervous about eating great but know I can make it work. I start with Good Measures today and Im super excited about that.

    YES TO A DMV LOCAL MEET-UP!! Not staying connected to my surgeon after my surgery left me without access to in person support group stuff.

    I’m happy to come to Baltimore on a Sat or Sun!!

    Also, doc said NOPE to exercise for me. Going to get an ortho consult for a likely dx of bursitis in my hip. Crap.

    Yahooo September! Already grateful for cooling temps as it makes outdoor exercise much more appealing (except the pool, which I will miss so much!).

    This planning my food thing works! Really helped me stay on track yesterday.

    got good news this morning from my doc; all vitamin levels look good but Im not going to take anything for granted. Going to place a big Celebrate order tonight!! My glucose went down by 2 points in the last year, and that feels like a win.

    This group, and support on this thread, got me through the day!!  THANK YOU!!!

    I ate exactly what I wrote I’d eat; I’ve never done that before (written my food BEFORE eating it!). It was nice and easy. Time for my tiny ice cream cone now 🙂

    After my great convo w/Nikki, I am feeling READY to execute a great plan this week. Here’s mine:

    -Pack a YUMMY (not just the basics) salad or wrap for lunch each day, Monday through Thursday.

    -EAT my lunch/dinner during my planned breaks at work: Monday at 4pm, Tuesday at 12:30pm, Wednesday at 3:30pm and Thursday at 5pm.
