I’m decluttering my craft supplies by using them to make masks. I decluttered my basil/oregano by snipping it back & freezing the bits in olive oil.
This is about the extent of my energies today.

I would love that! I’m contemplating dinner for breakfast, why can’t I have tacos for breakfast? I need to think about food rules & why I can’t do dinner breakfast. I want to try boiled eggs as they would be a great, portable breakfast or lunch or snack.
I have associated smells & eggs with negative childhood issues. (adding this to talk wit…[Read more]

I think that totally counts, especially if you felt better after it was done!

I’m sitting at the computer decluttering my email inbox. I usually check my email on my phone and my inbox on the computer is so full that I can’t receive emails on it any longer. I’m currently to the point that I’m starting to get June’s emails (it started with May’s) and I’m not stopping until I’m up to today’s!

Amazingly, for once, I am not inundated with a bunch of weeknight meetings! I am going to schedule book club because we are due to have one but besides that my evenings are looking pretty clear. This makes me happy. I was at a point where I worked all day and had 2-3 meetings per night. That was making me quite grumpy!
This week’s dinners will be…[Read more]

Sounds yummy! We are doing “make your own take out” night on Tuesday, I think. My oldest makes awesome oven fries (I’m going to make myself spicy sweet potato fries) and we are going to make cheesesteak subs. I have a good hack for that, by the way. I buy a big tub of the thinly sliced deli roast beef and fry that up with onions and green peppers.…[Read more]

You are busy lady!
You mentioned wanting non-egg savory breakfasts. Are you able to do tortillas? I make an awesome high-fiber breakfast burrito. I make about 8 of them in the oven at once (because the family always pillages!). You can omit eggs and just do sausage crumbles, veggies and cheese. If you’re interested, I can post my recipe.

I hope your hectic work week goes well! Good of your hubby to take some stuff off your hands.
I’m going to give the lemon bars another go this week making them how *I* would make them (so my fave crumb crust and just how I generally know how to make a custard). I’m gonna feature them on the blog (as a recipe semi-fail/recovery story) but I’ll…[Read more]

I’m so sorry you’ve been feeling queasy. I hope you get to the bottom of it!
I did not sleep well last night at all. Sigh. My surgeon said this will increase in frequency until I get my right half reconstructed. I’m not in pain. I just can’t lay down comfortably. Luckily I’m pretty much a ball of pure energy so I’m not tired but…I don’t know…[Read more]

I’m actually pretty excited about this one and have been sort of “prepping” for it.
Today you’re going to:
Declutter something in your life!
Could be your junk drawer. Could be your purse or wallet. Just get that clutter OUT!For my part, I’m going to do some decluttering of my office. I called bulk trash to come get my ages old…[Read more]

Today starts my “figure out what the heck is going” week(s). I’m on water-based protein shakes until I can get something down without feeling queasy and my system settles down. So meals are easy. Premier protein waters and Synthrax Nectar shakes.
As far as getting my steps in, I have somehow managed to get myself into 5 fitbit challenges, so I…[Read more]

Kiddo had a day of reporting back on her Jamaica trip at all 3 services & needed to be there by 7:30. Around 10:30, I informed her & the leader that we were leaving after the “sermon” at 11 cause I needed her to drive me home.
Breakfast was 2 oatmeal raisin cookies at church
lunch was 2 slices of little ceasers reheated and a nap
dinner was 2…[Read more]

Spent time yesterday shuttling kids around & being distracted by clouds as I drove about.
Remember the game of “what do you see” when cloud gazing? Yeah, this and bird id get me just about every time.
We have bald eagles that nest near our house & i am always trying to catch a glance.
