Yes! My cookbooks came and I have been using them! (l made Butterfinger protein ice-cream for my husband as a surprise for after dinner tonight. I can’t ever make that shake without doubling it or I barely get any!)
I have eaten healthy all week although I have been eating more than I should be.

Thanks for the compliment!

I love it when my work is done (mid-week sweep) without me actually having to DO anything…
You are having some big moments of self-realization. You inspire me!
On Good Measures I got my dietitian to adjust my carbs so that it leans on me a bit harder if I go all starchy. Now my index takes a huge hit with starches, but that’s the feedback I…[Read more]

Back to work!
Today I head back to work, its going to be interesting thats for sure. I am having some anxiety about going back to work. I have a new “subtitle” that starts full force today as soon as I get in to work I am in a meeting with some of the Big People in my company. I am not going to munch away my anxiety.

Checking in a little early because I have the chance to go to bed early. Hubby oral surgery went well. Parade was awesome I ran a lot of it because I kept handing candy to the little kids in the back or ones in strollers or ones with special needs and so I kept getting left behind.
Food was okish. I miss the verity of New Orleans. I had a…[Read more]

Thanks everyone!! Since I don’t have a treadmill, can’t walk around the block without assistance and trails (i.e. uneven ground) don’t seem to be possibilities for me I’ll have to give this some thought before I commit. Ideas are walking around stores, malls, or get my butt back into Planet Fitness (yes, I’ve been paying my membership dues for the…[Read more]

Breakfast – plant based protein shake (no dairy or wheat/gluten) with unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Didn’t seem to bother my digestive system.
Lunch – leftover Mexican squash casserole (minus the cheese)
Dinner – basil and garlic chicken breast and roasted veggies without oil
I succeeded in eating slow with smaller bites and chewing really…[Read more]
