What are you going to plant? I’d love to have a veggie garden. Unfortunately, between the birds, the colony of rabbits and my veggie loving dog, it’s pretty much a no go here!

<p style=”text-align: left;”>I will continue to follow my list of “Seven Simple Things” this week. This is something that I will be writing down each week. I really like this idea!

<p style=”text-align: left;”>I’m going to finish prepping meals for my jury duty next week. If I don’t get picked for a jury, I’ll still have a nice supply of meals…[Read more] -

My one “Simple Thing” for today is to rest. That’s just what I’m doing today! Slept in, steps are taking a break although I will still be doing my PT exercises. Because I slept in, there’s no breakfast today. Lunch will be some of my quickie pancakes I made yesterday, turned into a PB&J sandwich with some strawberries on the side. To continue to…[Read more]

Done. The list of one simple thing to do each day has turned things around for me. Instead of feeling defeated, I’m encouraged and actually made a bit of progress on my short term goal after months of not.

Today, I actually got all the errands that I planned to do all week done! Started early and got home just after lunch. Now I’m waiting for my husband to get home so I can cut his hair. That way I won’t be dreading it all weekend!
Shake for breakfast.
A mishmash for lunch. Nothing was really sitting so I ended up having a few bites of several…[Read more]

That’s all.

Back yard is DONE!!!!
However, the back is the easy part! Having a Powerade 0 while watching the dog enjoy the short grass. Now it doesn’t tickle her tummy!
Next up, the joy of the front yard. I definitely haven’t been appreciative enough of the job my husband has been doing!

I’m about to go outside and try to tackle mowing the yard. My husband has always done this (he says that it’s the only exercise he gets) but there’s no way he can with his back the way it is. Actually, it’s all going to depend on whether or not I can start the mower with my shoulder the way it is.
Shake for breakfast. Lunch will depend on how I…[Read more]

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Done. Definitely going to have to work on changing my narrative. I hate it when the logical part of my brain and the emotional part of my brain disagree. 😠

Lots to do and not much energy to do it.
Breakfast will most likely be a shake.
Lunch will be deli meat, a cheese stick and a kiwi.
Dinner is leftovers.
Getting my house semi clean, running errands (the dog is getting stressed that her food is getting low. Either that or she’s getting excited because being low on dog food means that her food…[Read more]

Well, it seems that the tiny bit of inulin in those Premier protein bars that I’ve been eating for the last two and a half months, are a major part of why I have been feeling so lousy. Three days off of them and, while I still don’t feel great, I’m feeling a lot better than I was! I haven’t felt the overwhelming need to lie down and rest today.…[Read more]
