    I love that!
    
    My foundational affirmation is one my mother gave to me and each of my children at birth:
    
    “You are the descendant of kings and queens and noble tribesman. Only God is greater than you.”
    
    She whispered that to each of us when we were born and I think about that every day as I go into the world. She taught me that kings and queens are regal not when they are wealthy and loaded down with priceless jewels, but when they are compassionate and kind and use their power to look out for the interests of others.
    
    So that’s what I try to do every day.
