  • Mid-week sweep! I feel like I know how your first goal (about bedtime) is going. I know getting out of the house has been challenging. How are you feeling about that?

I hope everything is going well. Looking forward to reading all about it!

  • This is a “sorta” mid-week sweep because some of your items aren’t due yet. I see you’ve been posting, which is great!

How are you feeling as your work life ramps up?

  • Mid-week sweep! How is everything going? Have you been avoiding grazing? How’s the walking going? And the planks? I hope you’re doing ok!

  • So for me:

    • Finances: I don’t wanna talk about it. But I have an accounting software program called Xero for BF that I need to incorporate + I heard that Mint is a good app.
    • Schedule: my old school planner book has been working fabulously.
    • Ideas: Evernote! Seriously I need to do an Evernote training one of these days. It’s changed my life.

  • Kudos on the “early” bed time! I’m just so glad you’re back to posting. I really missed you.

  • I think you’ve made an important observation.

Since this is a change that’s not going away anytime soon, look at your routine and see what you can do to still be as organized as you want to be without being so stressed every day. I’d encourage you to think about “batching” things if you can. Batching is the process of taking one chunk of time to…[Read more]

  • Better than I really expected. Still stressed over my husband’s job situation but I think it will be at least next week before we hear about any more new developments.

I am having a little trouble adjusting to my new daily routine (picking up my grandson from Pre-K everyday at 1:00 p.m.). I seem be trying to get as much as possible done before I leave to get him unless I have a scheduled appointment in the morning (about 12:15 p.m.), and getting myself stressed and overwhelmed, especially making sure I have…[Read more]

  • Color Coding. Work projects I use the clear plastic file jackets so that I can organize them by priority or similarity (I have too many projects and not enough colors to have one color per project and get them all filed).  As I take notes, I change colors of pens to separate the dates so I can find it. I have a three ring binder with tabs so I…[Read more]

  • <p style=”text-align: left;”>I’m a bit late posting today. I think that I’m just running behind on everything.</p>
Steps and liquids (I really need to work on my liquids), cleaning out the home office (sometimes I feel like I will never finish) and a couple of quick errands.

Breakfast was a power crunch protein bar

    Lunch with be deli…[Read more]

  • What do you use for organization? I am an EXTREMELY unorganized person. like VERY!

The things I need to organize the most are:

    Finances
    Schedule
    Ideas
    My Home.
    Work Projects

In the past I have occasionaly go on “binges” where I will try and orginize evertyhing at once and then i get overwhelmed and quit. I recognise this and I am trying to…[Read more]

Today I am trying to keep things a little open until I see what work is gonna be like.

    Breakfast was Eggs and toast

I want to get to bed a little earlier than usual because tomorrow is my “Meeting day” I spend the entire day in meetings and I need to be…[Read more]

  • I’m not even sure what day it is anymore. We have officially started Launch Season aka Konica falls off the planet. From Yesterday till after the first of the year work weeks top out at 60 hours (this year may be more) per week. so I am going to be taking this easy and work myself into it. I’m going to be nicer to myself than I have in years…[Read more]

  • Slow onset cold. That’s what I’m convinced I have. I feel tired and my mouth tastes weird and I have a sneeze, but none of it is bad enough (yet) to warrant a sick day. But I feel like it’s going to get worse. Ugh. I hate being sick!

Not sure what’s on deck to eat today as this taste in my mouth is icky. Might be a protein day.

    5k plan says to…[Read more]

  • It’s official. I’m cursed. I feel a bad cold coming on. Still I went to Zumba (had a hard time keeping up but I did it!)

    Food:

    • Cold Zoodle-sketti salad
    • a lunchmeat roll up
    • a power crunch bar

and I am about to take some Tylenol cold and say goodnight cuz my face hurts!

  • OK, I’m late. But if I don’t post nothing will happen.

I grocery shopped yesterday and they were out of my grab-go salads, so I have to shop again tonight. But I have snacks for work and am set there. Half way completed.

I must plan the book club this week. By Thursday. I planned the first meeting and realized I needed a whole schedule instead.…[Read more]

  • Stress is definitely starting to take a toll on my husband and I. He’s eating too much and everything I eat or drink makes me feel sick to my stomach. Where I used to get about five hours of sleep a night, in the last two weeks it’s dropped to three. If his work would just tell us what’s going on, I could handle whatever it is. It’s the not…[Read more]

  • Today re-affirmed for me why I usually start the daily post way early in the morning. This was the longest trek to my computer EVER! But it was for good reason. I got my wig done. It needed it! Girlfriend was about to walk right off my head in protest.

Anyhoo…the 5k plan says today we cross-train! 20-30 minutes. I plan to go to Zumba tonight,…[Read more]
