    1. Follow the “you screwed up” forgive and be curious worksheet with all my heart
    2. visit the foodie nation 2 times a day. Once at 8:00am and once at 10:00 pm.
    3. Walk! Take my children and my dogs for a walk 3 times this week. The days and times will very so I will post in daily with my plan for the day.
  • Took the walk, met the water, logged, hit the grocery store,

kind of scary how this planning works? Lol

  • continue to log food

“buy” caffeine with 16 oz water for 8 oz caffeine

    walk outdoors 1 time

    bring lunch 1 day

hit at least 64 oz water, try to increase to 70.

    have a good week.

    be gentle with me.

This morning I planned meals for the week and went grocery shopping already.

Breakfast/Lunch – Lactaid cottage cheese with tomato, garlic powder, basil (I love cottage cheese and Breakstone’s live active cottage cheese is the only one I will eat, this was a big step for me–thus the reason for doctoring it up in order to make it more…[Read more]

  • Well, I have been dodging the inevitable and it’s time for me to get serious about what food goes into my mouth. My primary doctor has been after me to avoid/eliminate both dairy and wheat from my diet because I keep having digestive issues. I do good for a few days, but being a glutton for punishment, I end up having these foods again and my…[Read more]

  • I have no idea what today is going to bring! I’m hoping to get to the grocery store today because I’d really like some salmon for dinner, but I don’t know if that will happen. We’re keeping one of the grandsons this afternoon and evening. Not the “never slow down” two year old but little four month old Jackson! We have plans to go look at new…[Read more]

  • Mini- pledge check-in week 2

I can’t say if the starchy veggies worked out or not. I don’t know if it was stress or a stomach bug, but my digestion has gone back into an uproar. However, it did start on the day I ate butternut squash! Anyway, I went back to very carefully choosing my foods and as of yesterday, things seem back to normal. My…[Read more]

  • I’m going to shift gears with my pledge this week and instead of food, I’m going to work on my fitness plan. I am going to add some high intensity training to my work out. While I’d love to say that I’m going to do this three times this week, I know myself (and my life) well enough to say that I’m hoping to do this once this week. Any more than…[Read more]

  • Okay, call me ignorant, but what exactly is a virtual 5k? In fact, what is a 5k at all? I have never done this before and am interested in in finding what is involved, especially with just having my knee replaced.

I also posted this question in the open discussion forum.

    Thanks.

Not sure this is the right forum to post this, so I am also posting in the ask a question get an answer forum.

    Thanks.

  • I bad, haven’t been updating in daily accountability forum. For some reason I have been easily distracted this week, although did keep busy.

Anyway, I was successful most of the time by slowing down my eating and concentrating on smaller bites and chewing, although all my food choices have not been the best.

To answer your question @nikki-massie,…[Read more]

I made it through this difficult week! I made big $$ / big risk decisions at work, and had to accept the resignation of my right hand guy.

I ate pretty well, and I’ve been logging diligently and I’ve exceeded 64oz of water every day. woo hoo.

I’m sitting in the waiting room at the Bone and Joint Institute in Temple. My husband just went back to have an injection in his back. I have no idea what the rest of the day will bring. I have a bottle of water to drink and my Kindle to read. Breakfast was a Quest bar in the car on the drive here and don’t have a clue what the rest of my meals…[Read more]

  • Well I didn’t make my goal yesterday of doing the fitness room for 30 minutes but I did log my food and I ate pretty well.

Today I got up and walked with the morning walking group and got a medal! (I’ll post a pic of it later.) Today is a full convention day. So far I had a low-fat Eggs Benedict and some fruit. Lunch is on my own so I’ll…[Read more]

  • Big boss was here, so lunch was brought in a few days – today I did the best, taking my sandwich apart and making it the top of the salad to get the protein. Doing the food logging (even the beer from last night!). We went to the mall, left the car in the lot and walked to the dinner, then walked back. A good walk, and I crossed the 10,000 steps…[Read more]

    I’m so glad you posted!

Today’s email was really about stressing that there is something happening here on this site that may seem small…so small that you may not notice it happening. But I see it! I see folks building better habits. I see folks trying things they wouldn’t try before. I see people trying harder at things they want but found…[Read more]

  • Mid-week sweep! How’s it going? I’ve heard from you about the logging and you are doing awesome at building that habit (kudos!). How’s the rest of your plan coming along?

  • Mid-week sweep! I feel like I personally have a good idea of how your goals are going, but still check in so other members can know too! 🙂

  • Mid-week sweep! How’s it going? Are you slowing down and chewing well? Also I’m curious if the eating experience is any different when you do that versus how you were eating before trying to do that? (I hope that question made sense.)

  • Mid-week sweep! How’s it going? You getting those workouts in?
