I’m so sorry you’ve been feeling queasy. I hope you get to the bottom of it!
I did not sleep well last night at all. Sigh. My surgeon said this will increase in frequency until I get my right half reconstructed. I’m not in pain. I just can’t lay down comfortably. Luckily I’m pretty much a ball of pure energy so I’m not tired but…I don’t know…[Read more]

I’m actually pretty excited about this one and have been sort of “prepping” for it.
Today you’re going to:
Declutter something in your life!
Could be your junk drawer. Could be your purse or wallet. Just get that clutter OUT!For my part, I’m going to do some decluttering of my office. I called bulk trash to come get my ages old…[Read more]

I got out my favorite candle for the first time in at least a year. Fortunately, it has a lid for storage, so it’s still very fragrant.

Today starts my “figure out what the heck is going” week(s). I’m on water-based protein shakes until I can get something down without feeling queasy and my system settles down. So meals are easy. Premier protein waters and Synthrax Nectar shakes.
As far as getting my steps in, I have somehow managed to get myself into 5 fitbit challenges, so I…[Read more]

I was alone in the dinning room this evening and while working on my costume for Your Weight Matters Convention I burned my patchouli incense. So relaxing!!

Kiddo had a day of reporting back on her Jamaica trip at all 3 services & needed to be there by 7:30. Around 10:30, I informed her & the leader that we were leaving after the “sermon” at 11 cause I needed her to drive me home.
Breakfast was 2 oatmeal raisin cookies at church
lunch was 2 slices of little ceasers reheated and a nap
dinner was 2…[Read more]

I’ve got a large assortment of oils & have been diligent today with applying them. I think I smell good ( a family member thought I was wearing bug spray to church)

Spent time yesterday shuttling kids around & being distracted by clouds as I drove about.
Remember the game of “what do you see” when cloud gazing? Yeah, this and bird id get me just about every time.
We have bald eagles that nest near our house & i am always trying to catch a glance.

I usually go for the scented wax melts so I bought myself some new ones and opted to use the pretty wax melter from my daughter.

Meals are all planned for the week and did my grocery shopping this morning. I chose mostly bariatric friendly recipes this week.
Dinners – meatball parmesan burgers (no roll) and a salad, crab cake salad, chicken bbq sliders and tomato salad, bbq pineapple chicken foil pack.
Breakfast – I still have 2 days worth left of the low carb mushroom…[Read more]

Must be something in the air! I didn’t have a nightmare, but went from sound asleep to wide awake about six times throughout the night. This has been a quiet day so far. And needs not to be. We (hubby and I) need to get outside and work on his car. We fixed one thing and several other problems popped up. We think that the new part we put on may be…[Read more]

I am really tired today. Hubby and I took a little drive yesterday and when we got home we stayed up way too late outside by our fire pit talking. It was definitely fun, but I’m getting too old to stay up all night!!
Anyway had a low carb mushroom and feta cheese casserole for breakfast. No energy right now to get my butt up off the couch to have…[Read more]

The next few weeks will be interesting for me. For almost two months, my digestive system has been in an uproar. Everything I eat or drink has been causing severe gastric upset to the point of effecting my daily life. I’ve been telling myself that it’s “just stress” or “I’m just too tired”. However this last week, I’ve had a little voice in my…[Read more]

Day started out overcast and grey, but every once in a while the sun poked through (only for a few seconds at a time). So, I ran (well actually walked) out on my deck each time just to watch the clouds go by, but they weren’t moving much. Oh well!!
