  • I MADE IT TO ZUMBA!!!!

    I think I may have overdone it as my shoulder and neck hurt. I really need to be careful with my movement until I get these issues worked out.

    I have been slack in posting.  Just been super busy getting everything done so we could go on vacation.  Sitting at the airport now waiting on our flight.  Headed to Pennsylvania. 😊

    Breakfast:  protein shake

    lunch:  protein bar

    dinner:  chicken tenders

    Walked 25 minutes

    1. Sausage Egg McMuffin (sigh…)
    2. Chicken Schwarma
    3. I will have a protein bar in a bit
    4. I’m not sure about dinner although I’m leaning toward keeping it simple with a ramekin of cheesy meatballs.

    I will make it to Zumba tonight!!!

  • My plan this week is to do some home improvement work every day.  Right now, that’s mostly removing wall paper. If it cools down, I’ll go outside and cut boards for my craft room closet.

    My goal is to be in bed by 10:00 on Sunday.  I have to take Scott for an endoscopy on Monday, and will need to be up at 5:30 am. Since I normally go to bed aroun…[Read more]

    1. Set a plan (done)
    2. Go to work early on Monday (done) and troubleshoot the issues. (done)
    3. Prioritize my work tasks and set reasonable expectations for completion. If they don’t all get done by the deadline (which is Friday for a bunch of them), be OK with it.
    4. Grocery shopping Monday night. Get more salads, snacks, and drinks for work…

  • You know what I call “boring goals”? HABIT BUILDING!

    That’s what you are doing. You’re building a habit of eating the proper amount of protein. So it should show up as long as you need until (and even beyond when) it feels like second nature.

  • Well the McD’s sandwich is a true mystery as the fat in the sandwich theoretically should fill me up fast (any other kind of fat does in very small amounts).

  • 1. 90 grams of protein a day. It’s boring, but I won’t do it it I don’t have it as a goal. I’m at that point in my recovery where I don’t have much appetite.

    2. Go the PT 3 times this week and do my exercises at home every day.

    3. Finish a rough draft of my resume.
