With eternal thanks to my Basset Hound, Benji, for waking me up at 5 a.m. I did see the sunrise. And after I got done cursing, it was gorgeous.

That totally works!

Well … Not gonna like … No way was I getting up early today … I see the sunrise every day when working (not until I get to work in the winter). Summer =sleeping in for me 😀. So I will see the sunrise Tuesday (leaving VERY early for a trip) and I will take some time for myself today in another way

Facial (well .. Attention to my face) completed

I was up…  but so were the clouds so no visible sunrise for me this morning!

So, I made blueberry muffins for breakfast!

Facial is done!!!  Feels wonderful and added essential oils to my moisturizer to help with my aging skin!!! 🙂   I need to make this a weekly activity!!! 🙂

I just finished the second facial in the link posted. It was the “Steam Facial”. I put in a couple of chamomile teabags I had. I enjoyed it thoroughly! It smelled so nice. He has! And yes, I’ve been getting in the workouts…3x so far this week. I was bummed about book club but will try to catch the replay

I was able to relax for an hour watching the last episode of Reign, and enjoying a glass of wine.  That was very nice!

It was a rough day… broke my toe, sprained my pinkie finger, spilled red wine on my beige carpet that we had JUST cleaned!  I needed to relax!

Was able to lay on couch with my eyes closed for about 1/2 hour, but I also spent some quality time (over 1 hour) with hubby in front of a fire tonight.

I spent the afternoon at a children’s museum with one of my grandsons and granddaughters!!! Couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon!!! Love my grandkids!!! 🙂

Today has kinda sucked for me so I’m turning in early and finishing The Handmaids Tale on Hulu.

After a long day at a work “retreat”  I am going to go to bed VERY early (8pm) and watch some TV … catch up on my DVR and try to get some much needed sleep tonight

It’s been a crazy stressful few days.  I asked my husband for help, which I don’t usually do for this kind of stuff, and then I took my dogs to daycare and vegged in solitude for a couple of hours. {{big exhale}}

All challenges will be daily check-in. I’ve found in my experience of doing challenges that unless I have folks doing something every day, I lose them! (Also you guys respond way better when you have a different thing to do each day rather than doing one thing over the course of 30 days…just a factoid lol)
