I’m at 76 ounces and am about to get something more to drink. Snack will continue to be closer to bedtime so I can sleep through the night. And this is the first time I have actually been plugged in today!

It’s 8:20 in the evening here and I have literally been going nonstop since 5:45 this morning. Today was my grandson’s birthday party. Workouts: Pushing my walking distance up to 35 miles. 2 or more strength workouts using new routine from trainer.

I’ll get in about 58-60 ounces total today, and no more food after 7 pm. Unplugged for an hour, and I’m planning my meals (grocery list, myfitnesspal, etc.) for next week tonight.

I’m at 68 ounces so far. I’ve also been unplugged for most of the day as we’ve been busy getting ready for our grandson’s 2nd birthday party to be held at my house tomorrow. The moving my snack closer to my bedtime has definitely improved my sleeping!

Now that some of us are on this water kick…what are your favorite flavor enhancers? I personally like the sugar-free Crush powders, but they do have artificial sweetener.

The schedule is always travel related or a PTSD event, which can throw me off for days. Not so sure about sugar…I have it occasionally when out and about. If I’m not paying attention and have it too often in a short time, I have physical cravings for more and have to “detox”. Maybe the lack of attention is lack of self care.

I hit 72 oz today – WOOT!!! No food before bed and made it about 40 min without checking my phone while I was babysitting.

80 ounces of liquids in. I’m sleeping at night now that my snack is closer to the time I go to bed. I was unplugged from technology for most of the day today.

Sorry I haven’t been checking in. I’ve been prepping for my grandson’s birthday party this weekend. Today’s actually his second birthday but Sunday was picked for his party as no one has to work that day.
Breakfast was a Celebrate chocolate mint shake
Lunch was some cooked out link sausage and a cheese stick
Dinner will be chicken fajitas

I feel like I’m pretty on track right now. But if/when I don’t, it’s usually because my schedule is off (which impacts my sleep, which impacts my energy, which impacts my eating and working out, blah blah blah) OR because I’ve let sugar creep in and I crave more.

I’d like to think that it depends on whether I’m using tech for my purposes or if I’m a slave to it. For example, I like to read – sometimes it’s easier to get the book electronically, but I don’t feel like I’m a slave to my device if I’m reading a book. But yeah, I also use it sometimes to cure boredom as I have a hard time just being chill.

Good reminder! Because I’m a data nerd, I spreadsheet all of my lab values along with the recommended levels. I’ve found it’s best to be my own advocate and watch closely. Even though I may be within a normal range, there could be a significant change that is worth looking at.

I typically go device free for at least 30 min as I get ready for bed, except for music on Pandora which I’m not counting because I could just as easily use an actual radio! Last night I tried to go longer but I got bored and just decided to go to sleep 🙂

Water not so great at 40 oz. I stopped eating 90 min before bed. Unplugging for a full hour might be hard, but I’m going to try!
I do prep all my own food during the week normally. Once or twice on the weekends I typically go out with the hubs, so next week shouldn’t be hard for me.
