My goal for this week is to get back in the gym … 2 days cardio for an hour, 2 days cardio+weights and 1 day zumba. I will also do 3 Pilate’s workouts and get 5 days over 10000 steps.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>So reflecting back on last week, I would say that I met my goals for the most part. I did treat myself a few more bites and tonnes than planned, but still kept it together. I feel good about that for a week away.</p>

My mini-pledge this week is to continue working on slowing down my eating and with my discovery last week I also will work on taking way smaller bites and chewing more with these bites, especially meats and poultry.

I’m doing OK. Didn’t hit the full water goal every day. I got the liquids, but too much was caffeinated in my book. Funny how I left off the “log food every day with Good Measures” because I was scared of it, and I actually did that one instead. LOL.
I guess I don’t know my own abilities as well as I thought I did.

How do you not eat first thing? OMG.
I was trained that you need to kick start the metabolism and especially with a pouch need to keep feeding it in small doses. If the supplements are making it unhappy, is there a compromise with the time you take them instead of skipping breakfast?

Yes, Nikki, grains are gone again. In my enthusiasm to add carbs back in, I forgot about that nasty little reason of huge weight gains when I eat them. But I’m not giving up! See this week’s pledge!

I did track my food in My Bariatric Pal this week. The beginning of the week and end of the week I was much better posting than during the middle of the week. I also have coffee and then breakfast but I usually have a protein shake and it usually takes me between 20 & 30 minutes to drink. I take my vitamins after I eat or else I get nauseous. I can’t do them on an empty stomach. 🙂

Another busy week ahead and hot temps, so I’m still focusing on getting in my water every day.
Breakfasts: Banana Bread Breakfast Cookies
Lunch: Chicken veggie fritters
Dinner: Pepperoni Chicken bake
Snack: Nik’s cheesecake pudding parfaits, protein barsExercise: 25 miles walked + 3 workouts (whatever my trainer tells me to do)

I start my first cup of coffee within 5 min of getting up, and then have breakfast about 15 min after finishing it…maybe 30-40 minutes after I wake up. Well today is my “baby’s” birthday (31 years old….YIKES! I’m not that old am I?!?!). Will be heading over to his house this afternoon to “celebrate” so to speak. He didn’t want a birthday party, so he’s telling everyone it’s a cookout. Well I have news for him, I’m going to celebrate his birthday whether he likes it or not!!! So there Marc 😝!!!
