Just wanted to clarify about checking in for the mini-pledge.
Daily check-in is not mandatory since the focus is on weekly goals.
That said, just because it isn’t mandatory doesn’t mean it’s not a good idea! Checking in daily on a weekly goal makes you more likely to complete said goal.
So.
Consider stopping by the Daily Check-Ins forum daily…[Read more]

You are right. For this challenge daily report backs aren’t mandatory but, like I said in the first email, they are highly encouraged. They can go right here in the Daily Check-In thread like you said. It won’t annoy anyone!

Like I said, today will just be a make-up day. Go through. Make sure you’ve reported back on all the tasks (if you didn’t do a task you can say you didn’t do it).
This was a really FUN challenge! If you have a minute, I’d love to hear your feedback about the Treat Yo’Self Challenge.
Also for anyone coming along after this challenge is over, it…[Read more]

I’m working on adding complex carbs to my food plan. So far, I know that rice and wheat are not going to work. My gut actually woke up my husband during the night with all the noises it was making and, well, let’s just say that my system is not happy this morning. So, today is oatmeal day! I have a pan of Nikki’s Fall Harvest Protein Baked Oatmeal…[Read more]

I know, right?
I head off to New Orleans for OAC Convention in a week and then after that we’ll be in final prep mode to send my oldest off to college! Sigh. Times go by so fast.
Today I have my meals all planned out.
I mixed some cottage cheese with Greek yogurt (it makes it super creamy), with a bit of sweetener, a teaspoon of peanut butter…[Read more]

Ok so I’m starting to understand better.
I asked because a meal plan doesn’t automatically = weight loss. A meal plan is good if you can get into the rhythm of it, but it by no means is the ONLY way to control your eating to lose weight. Some folks I know simply make sure all the ingredients in their home are healthy and then “wing it” in the…[Read more]
