I head off to New Orleans for OAC Convention in a week and then after that we’ll be in final prep mode to send my oldest off to college! Sigh. Times go by so fast.

I find when I do well with tracking I am much more forward thinking about my eating too. Let me know if you find that to be the case for yourself as well.

Ok so I’m starting to understand better.
I asked because a meal plan doesn’t automatically = weight loss. A meal plan is good if you can get into the rhythm of it, but it by no means is the ONLY way to control your eating to lose weight. Why do you think a meal plan is an important thing to have? (In general.)
What happens when you DO NOT meal plan and instead try new things? Do bad things happen? -

I’m thinking (at this moment anyway) about trying some butternut squash. I tend to only eat summer squashes. I do know that I have to stay away from rice and breads.
