I’ve also noticed the reduction in my appetite. However, I have not noticed a reduction in my fasting blood sugar. However, that could be because my fasting is pretty low already. I also have noticed that the burning feeling is lessening.

Started the day off tired. I think that this will probably be the norm the day after PT. I don’t sleep well afterwards and am very sore today. I had a hot shake for breakfast and grilled chicken breast for lunch. I decided to be lazy for dinner and while I was at the grocery store, bought a Mexican flamed grilled chicken meal. It came with a whole…[Read more]

Maybe she’s a pink unicorn. And maybe you can tell her that. If that’s all true, she’s incredibly lucky. Most of us aren’t that way and perhaps she doesn’t realize it.

I haven’t heard any negative reactionside from my own friends or family, but there’s a lot of chatter out there.
I say good for her if she was doing it to improve her life and had the resources to do it!

Yesterday wasn’t so great – found myself eating unconsciously after a couple of high stress days. Pushed the restart button today

I usually have a cup of coffee before the AVC and my pouch seems to handle it OK. But, I have noticed that I go longer in the morning without being hungry. I was going to eat a protein bar halfway to Temple this morning. I was about to pull into the parking lot at the Bone and Joint clinic when I realized that I hadn’t had my protein bar because I…[Read more]

I’m originally from Houston. Went to high school in Beaumont. I have sibling-in-laws in Baytown and my husband has cousins in Port Arthur and Jasper! Yeah, I avoid Collin Street Bakery like the plague now! Unfortunately, it’s right next to Sam’s! I have had the fruitcake and many of the breads. And the cookies! Actually, we lived in Corsicana for…[Read more]

I’m about to head to PT. I’ve had about a third of a Premier protein shake and about half way to Temple, I’ll have a protein bar to get me thru all those WONDERFUL exercises! A stop at Buc-ees afterwards as a reward for a job well done. For those who don’t live in Texas, Buc-ees is THE place to stop when traveling. They have the cleanest bathrooms…[Read more]

Nikki, I just happened to do a fasting blood sugar today, I will continue to do them and see if I notice a change. After a week or so, I’ll try the suggestion in the article of taking a tablespoon at night to see if that changes anything.

I had a cup of coffee this morning before downing my ACV. Apart from the warm “glow” going down, things were much better today. I think that this is a good way for me to do this. The only thing that I have noticed is that I find that I have no interest in eating or drinking a shake for several hours afterwards. However, that being said, I’m also…[Read more]

I’m running way behind on posting today. I’ve stayed on track with my low carb eating, have all my steps in, but haven’t done my PT exercises yet. I got thrown out of kilter by a phone call from my son telling me that baby Jackson’s birthdate would be delayed by a day (mom’s being induced next Wednesday instead of Tuesday). That being said, he g…[Read more]

Today I will be focusing on getting my steps done earlier. I was late getting them in yesterday due to an unexpected but wonderful visit from my son and his family. I got lots of Memaw time in! I’ll be doing my PT exercises, several more were added yesterday. I think that I will have to split the exercises up. As it stands now, I would be doing…[Read more]
