The whole locker room/no ladies room thing is a long story. I know I’m behind on fluids today but finding a potty in NYC is tricky. So it was a balance. I may have gotten close.
i did ok emotionally this week. M&m’s were had, my GMI dropped but it recovered. I made conscious choices vs mindless ones.
Todays food options were less than optimal,…[Read more]

This is going to be an odd week. I’m getting a new knee on Thursday and I’ll be in the hospital until Saturday or Sunday. I know from when I got the first knee done in June that they have healthy food choices available. I’ll bring protein shakes and protein bars along with me and I’ll be great for eating well.
I realized as I was doing the…[Read more]

Pretty much a laid back day after watching our grandsons overnight. Boys are very active plus today is rainy with the high only getting to 58°!!! Hubby and I will step out later for dinner.
Meals are planned for the week and I will grocery shop tomorrow.
Also I have been working on my plan to train for the 5k, which I noted in my weekly plan.

Mini pledge check-in! I didn’t do as well as I had hoped on getting liquids in. Actually, I stunk at it. But, hey, from where I am now, it can only get better! ?

Working on the Self Evaluation and the 5K, of course. Along with my cleaning out the house. This week I’m planning on getting our home office cleaned out. (that’s the room with the blue walls that you always comment on, Nikki). If I can get that room done, the rest of the house will seem easy! I just hope that I can get it done in a week!

Started the day by sleeping in for a change. Then up and busy. The hope is to get some outside things done over the weekend. Mowing and trimming the yard and moving some plantings around to make room for some new crepe myrtles we bought for the front of the house. However, while the temperature outside isn’t all that terrible, the humidity is a…[Read more]

Ok, so is today REALLY the last check in….lol???
I didn’t do so well with my goals this week, partly because of vacation but mostly because I wasn’t choosing the best options. Time for me to get back into a much healthier routine and put the past behind me. What’s done is done!

@nikki-massie I’m about to call you out again… we have the support call and you give us your plan, but you don’t post a weekly action plan? do you do it daily? is it a mystery? or am I just not seeing it in the right spot? I literally just went looking for it to mid-week sweep you. Not to be a brat, but to support you right back. Because I find…[Read more]
